Polk Medical Center is a 25-bed hospital accredited by The Joint Commission. As a critical access hospital our team of health care providers offer standard services with the support from Floyd's entire system of comprehensive care.

In 2012, renovations to the existing Polk Medical Center facility and plans for construction of a replacement hospital will begin. Our goal is to improve the overall patient experience while providing additional services. It’s all part of Floyd’s mission to provide a comprehensive and technologically advanced health care system characterized by continually improving quality, accessibility, affordability and ensuring personal dignity.
