Floyd Physical Therapy & Rehab has added two new physical therapists to its offices in Polk County.
Ally Atkins, DPT, cares for patients in the Floyd Physical Therapy & Rehab office in Rockmart, at 1650 Chattahoochee Drive. Atkins earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Armstrong State University in Savannah and a bachelor's degree in athletic training and exercise science from the University of Georgia in Athens. The Rockmart native has specialized experience in dry needling.
Jacob Rogers, DPT, sees patients in the Cedartown clinic at 2370 Rockmart Highway, #103. Rogers earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Augusta University in Augusta and a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. He has experience in treating sports and orthopedic conditions. As a physical therapist he will be evaluating, managing and treating pain and decreased function coming from a variety of sources. These include spine conditions, stroke, vertigo, sports injuries, orthopedic injuries and other chronic conditions.
