Floyd Medical Center's Pulmonary Rehabilitation, our goal is to help patients regain endurance and confidence, and improve their ability to perform daily activities.
- Care plans include personal exercise and health goals that are reviewed, approved and monitored by a pulmonologist for optimum results
- Education on taking medications, eating habits and avoiding daily pitfalls that affect breathing
- Monitoring heart rate and oxygen saturation during exercise sessions
Pulmonary rehabilitation can be ordered by a patient's primary care doctor or a pulmonologist.
